Dryer Vent Cleaning in Memphis, TN
I was messaged one afternoon from a client who had some concerns with her dryer. I asked "was the dryer not drying your clothing in one cycle or multiple cycles?" She replied back saying "I had to dry my clothes multiple times because one cycle wouldn't get it done and I also smelled a slight burning smell." I immediately told her that she NEEDED her dryer vents cleaned because that smell she was smelling was the smell of burning lint. Now that dryer lint could have caused a house fire which would have eventually ended in burning the house down completely. I told the client good thing she messaged me when she did because she could have had a serious house fire and lost everything. So we then discussed the issue of her clothes not drying properly and I stated that she had dryer lint built up over years of use in her dryer vents causing very little air flow to be allowed to pass thru when clothes were being dried. So we scheduled a time for us to come out to clean her dryer vents and were able to come exactly when she was available.
When we arrived she showed us her laundry room and the dryer. We cleared out all objects and things that were in the way and started executing our plan on cleaning this dryer vent. Disconnecting the dryer, we were able to start the process of cleaning the lint out of the vents. Using our residential equipment that we use on homes, it was a little tough on getting the vent unclogged but when we added another extension pole onto our dryer vent cleaning tool we were able to access the issue that was causing a lot of the blockage. We found an old sock which was twirled in dryer lint causing it to grow in size and block the path in which the air flowed. Once we showed it to the client and explained that this was one of the major issues causing her problem with her dryer, then she smiled and clapped her hands praising us that we found out what was causing this problem for her.
As we cleaned up the remaining excess of lint that was found behind both dryer and washing machine, we made it our duty to tidy things up in the laundry room making it as if we were never there but in a "clean way!" We ran several short cycles feeling the air blowing out on the outside of the house the way its meant too. Client was well pleased that her dryer was finally blowing like it needed to, to dry her clothes but most importantly she was happy that her house didn't burn down due to all the lint that was found. She was thankful that Moore Pressure Power Washing Services Llc was there to help her when she was in need.
